Privacy Policy

Last updated

Last updated: October 22, 2026. This policy explains what personal data Driverless Rider (https://www.driverlessrider.com) collects, why, and the choices you have.

Who is responsible

The data controller is David Álvarez González, NIF 54290459V, C/ Velázquez, 46018 Valencia, Spain ("we"). Contact for privacy questions: [email protected].

What we collect

  • Technical data from our hosting provider. Like every website, our host processes your IP address, browser type and the pages you request in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. These logs are kept for a short period.
  • Emails you send us. If you contact us, we use your email address and message only to reply, and delete them when no longer needed.
  • Advertising data (when ads are active). We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, measure them and, where you allow it, personalise them based on your visits to this and other sites.

The city finder on our pages runs entirely in your browser. We don't ask for or store your location.

Why we use it (legal bases under the GDPR)

  • Hosting and security logs: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Replying to messages: our legitimate interest in answering you.
  • Advertising cookies: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), collected through the consent message shown to visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland. You can change your choice at any time with the "Privacy choices" link in the footer.

Advertising and Google

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. You can learn how Google uses data at How Google uses information from sites that use its services, and opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings.

Your rights in the EU and the UK

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict its use, ask for portability and withdraw consent at any time, by emailing us. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or to the authority in your own country, such as the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

Your rights in US states

Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and other states with privacy laws), you may have the right to know what personal information we process, to delete or correct it, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising cookies may count as "sharing" under some state laws; you can opt out using the "Privacy choices" link in the footer, your browser's Global Privacy Control signal, or Google Ads Settings. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 (under 14 in Spain, 16 in some EU countries), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

International transfers

Our hosting and advertising providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where data leaves the EEA, they rely on safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change and show the new date at the top. More detail about cookies is in our cookie policy.
