Short answer: Waymo is open to everyone in Orlando, 24/7, in the Waymo app. It covers about 60 square miles including Downtown Orlando, Parramore, Millenia, Williamsburg and Southchase. It does not serve Orlando International Airport (MCO) or use freeways, and the theme parks are not in the areas we could confirm.

Waymo began in Orlando on February 24, 2026 with invited riders and opened to everyone on April 15, 2026, the same day as Miami. Orlando is a city of visitors, so here's what a tourist needs to know. For other cities, see every Waymo city.

Where Waymo goes in Orlando

The service area includes Downtown Orlando, Parramore, Millenia (including the Mall at Millenia area), Williamsburg and Southchase. Williamsburg is near the southern end of International Drive, the hotel area, which is why visitors ask about the parks. The app shows the exact boundary and is updated whenever Waymo expands.

Disney, Universal and the parks

We couldn't confirm that Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando or SeaWorld are inside Waymo's area as of October 21, 2026. Theme parks control their own drop-off zones, and robotaxi companies usually add them one at a time with an announcement. Until then, plan on a regular rideshare, a resort shuttle or a hotel pickup to the parks. If Waymo adds a park, we'll update this guide.

Staying near Downtown or Millenia? Waymo is handy for dinner, Lake Eola, the Kia Center and Camping World Stadium area trips, then switch to a shuttle for park days.

Orlando International Airport (MCO)

Waymo doesn't serve MCO. Tesla Robotaxi runs along the Semoran Boulevard and Lee Vista Boulevard corridor near the airport, but doesn't pick up or drop off at the terminals. For airports where Waymo does stop, see Waymo at the airport.

Tesla Robotaxi in Orlando

Tesla Robotaxi is open to the public in Orlando with a Tesla account and the Tesla Robotaxi app. Its area is the corridor near MCO, not Downtown or the parks. Some cars run with nobody aboard and others carry a safety monitor. Minors aged 8 to 17 can ride with an adult. Compare the two in Tesla Robotaxi vs Waymo.

Orlando tips

  • You must be 18 to create a Waymo account. Kids ride as your guests; under 8s need a car seat. See kids and teens.
  • Summer thunderstorms are daily; severe weather can pause service. See Waymo hours and weather.
  • Four riders maximum, so a family of five needs two cars or a regular XL ride.
